These pictures show an example of an Original Equipment Manufacturer’s airbag part which was previous manufactured through a machining process.  Trueline worked closely with the OEM to develop a prototype stamping tool to prove the capability of the stamping process.  Once the prototypes were tested and approved by the customer, Trueline built a progressive die to produce the part complete with the implementation of our proprietary flow control process.  This process allows the stamping of parts with double flanges and groves, possible.  By stamping this part using a progressive die, Trueline was able to offer the customer a savings of $0.05 per part compared to when they purchased the machined parts from China.
