Journeyman Toolmaker
If you are an experienced, highly motivated and dependable, team oriented toolmaker then you are just the person we are looking for! Some of your responsibilities will include building and maintaining tooling to our customers design specifications, working with the Lead Toolmaker / Project Manager regarding design changes or enhancements. You will assist in the set-up and verification of the first production run and may provide input to APQP and corrective action activities.
• 5 years die making or machining background preferred.
• 2 year Machine Tool technical degree preferred.
• Certified Journeyman toolmaker preferred.
• Blueprint reading skills
• Basic understanding pf SPC
CNC Department Manager
Do you have strong leadership skills and enjoy teaching and leading good people? Do you think “outside the box”? Would call yourself a self motivated problem solver? Then you are the person we are looking for! As our CNC Department Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the CNC Machining Center and Wire EDM Department. Must be able to program and operate a 3-axis machining center (both two-dimensional and three-dimensional parts). We are looking for experience in tooling and tool holders for conventional milling and hard milling and experience programming and operating Wire EDM machines.
• Qualified candidate must be able to work closely with manufacturing and engineering personnel with minimal supervision.
• Experience with CAD software, Solid Works and Auto-Cad preferred
• Blueprint reading/GD&T
• Working knowledge of CAM software and capabilities.
• 5-years hands-on die building or design experience preferred – but not necessary
Quality Manager
We are looking for an experienced manager for our Quality Department. Responsibilities include:
• Responsible for the continued improvement and maintenance of the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2000 registered company)
and related activities; to include Quality Policy, Procedures, Work Instructions and Quality Manual
• Interact with customer and third-party auditors in relation to this system and other responsibilities of Management Representative.
• Participate in Contract Review, including review and preparation of relevant documentation, Management Reviews and evaluation of
measurement systems.
• Facilitate CAR/PAR activities and maintains database
• Responsible for establishing measurable objectives related to the QMS and its effectiveness and for reporting to other members of
Management.
• Primary customer contact for quality related issues; Coordinates with Purchasing function on Supplier Development issues.
• Conduct and maintain the orientation and training of employees in Quality p[policy and procedures
Experience:
• 10+ years general quality experience,
• 5+ years quality experience with automotive metal stampings;
• 5+ years experience with the implementation and maintenance of QMS as related to ISO 9001:2000;
• Able to assess validity of inspection methods and measurement equipment;
• Metrology experience;
• Working knowledge of statistical techniques
• Experience with ISO9001-:2000 required
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma
• Internal Audit Training
• ASQ Certification preferred
• Able to supervise and coordinate activities of other department employees
• Ability to understand and communicate relationship between customer requirements, QOS measurables, and profitability.
